Metal detecting is a great hobby and the best way to get the most out of it is by joining the local clubs and participating in their group digs. Many of the detecting clubs these days operate via social media like Facebook and often have a large number of members. More and more people from all walks of life are becoming interested in metal detecting each year, ranging from small children right up to older ladies and gents.
