We have been detecting the beaches for over 15 years so we know what works very well, we will only ever supply a metal detector that works on both the wet and dry sand. All of the metal detectors in this category are simultaneous multi-frequency machines that will work flawlessly on the wet sand/surf and dry sand.

Minelab's Vanquish 340/440 & 540 machines are very good, waterproof, and affordable for beginners and experts alike. The only downside is control box itself is not waterproof so the whole machine can't be fully submerged in water.
