The Nokta NMS30 Rechargeable Hand-Held Metal Scanner, from Nokta Makro, is a powerful security wand with a host of features including a wider than normal detection area, button-operated control panel, adjustable sensitivity, an IP67 rating, and more. Its unique design allows for deeper than normal detecting of ferrous and non-ferrous metals.

Extra Wide Detection Area

While most devices tend to be long and narrow, the NMS30 takes a different approach and aims for a more circular approach. It has a 12” wide detection area that can detect deeper than many of its competitors.

Charging Station & Longlife Charge
The Nokta NMS30 Rechargeable Hand-Held Security Wand comes with its own docking station. The dock is plugged into the mains and allows the Nokta NMS30 to charge when it is not in use. The NMS30 is supplied with two AA rechargeable batteries with a battery life of over 40 hours.

Highly Water Resistant
The Nokta NMS30 Rechargeable Hand-Held Security Wand is highly water-resistant, has an IP67 rating and can be completely submerged and still operate. This allows it to be used even in the heaviest rain at outdoor events.

This allows for searches for weapons and larger metal objects without random alerts from pocket change and rivets. Conversely, at a higher sensitivity can be used to pick up small items like jewelry or sim cards.

Detection Size Indicator
The Nokta NMS30 Rechargeable Hand-Held Security Wand will indicate how large a successful detection is relative to its sensitivity by lighting up different numbers of bars in the center of the device. This means that with a little practice, you can tell by the detection alert how big the piece of metal will be.

Rebar Elimination Feature
The Nokta NMS30 Rechargeable Hand-Held Security Wand allows you to activate the rebar elimination mode which will automatically take into account the presence of rebar in the building. This prevents the rebar from causing interference when the device is in use.
