This version comes equipped with all the standard components of the Deus, except for having a lighter S-Stem and no remote control unit. Instead, the WS4 or WS5 headset takes on the responsibility of controlling the detector, providing a more convenient and portable configuration, weighing a mere 875g. The headphone controls grant you the ability to effortlessly access and fine-tune all the crucial detection settings, including Programs, Sensitivity, Discrimination, Ground Balance, Frequency, Multi-Tones, and more.

The XP DEUS is modular, a unique concept that allows you to choose which combination to buy, based on your budget or your metal detecting needs. You can choose from different packs that include different coils, headphones, and accessories. You can also buy the components separately and customize your own DEUS. 

A Breakthrough in Technology

The XP DEUS represents a significant advancement in metal detector design, introducing the first fully wireless metal detector and a fully telescopic S-shaped stem. Its innovative architecture consists of three key elements:

• Search Coil
• Remote Control Unit
• Audio Headphones (WS4 or WS5)

These components seamlessly communicate with each other through a real-time digital radio link, made possible by unique patented technology specifically developed for metal detecting. This groundbreaking design ensures efficient communication with clear audio and minimal power consumption. Additionally, the elimination of coil and headphone cables not only reduces weight but also prevents tangling or breakage. By incorporating cutting-edge components from leading-edge technologies, XP DEUS achieves remarkable power, speed, precision, lightness, and compactness. The search coil features an ultra-miniature processing circuit that integrates all the necessary components for signal processing. Signals are digitized and analyzed directly at the source by this circuit, and once processed, they are transmitted in real-time to the headphones and/or remote control via the digital radio link. This advanced system significantly enhances the quality of signal data acquisition.

When the remote control is turned off or not present, DEUS will still function! The detector can be controlled solely by the headphones WS4 or WS5, allowing for a more portable setup weighing just 875g. Without the remote control, the headphones provide the ability to adjust all the essential detection settings such as Sensitivity, Discrimination, Ground Balance, Frequency (X35 coil. 4 kHz, 8 kHz, 12 kHz, 18 kHz, 28kHz), Multi-Tones, and even recall previously created programs using the remote control!

You can extend or fold your stem in only 5 seconds! And you can switch the coil in a snap! This new patented stem is easy to store and use, unlike a straight stem with a fixed handle. It also has a shaped rubber handle and a better operating angle, which makes it very comfortable to hold. The search coil, remote control and headphones all use the same lithium polymer batteries. These small, high-capacity batteries can be charged fast with the mains charger that comes with them.

Choice of Coils

The XP DEUS metal detector comes as standard with either a 9 inch or 11 inch X35 coil from XP. You can also purchase additional accessory X35 coils, or High-Frequency coils. All coils are wireless and waterproof and can operate at different frequencies depending on your needs and preferences. You can switch between the coils easily, and you can also adjust the frequency, sensitivity, discrimination, and ground balance settings on the remote control or the headphones. The XP DEUS metal detector allows you to choose the best coil and frequency for your detecting environment.

High-Frequency Coils

The 9-inch round coil has a frequency range of 13 to 59 kHz, and it can be used for general-purpose detecting, such as coins, relics, and jewelry. It has a good balance between depth, sensitivity, and coverage, and it can handle moderate mineralization and trash. The 9-inch round coil is also suitable for wet or dry conditions, as it can be submerged up to 20 meters underwater.

The 9.5x5-inch elliptical coil has a frequency range of 13 to 81 kHz, and it can be used for specialized detecting, such as gold nuggets, small targets, and high mineralization. It has a higher sensitivity and a narrower detection field, which makes it ideal for finding tiny or low-conductive items in difficult conditions. The 9.5x5-inch elliptical coil is also more agile and precise, as it can maneuver around obstacles and pinpoint targets more easily.

X35 Coils

The XP Deus X35 coils come in three sizes: 9-inch, 11-inch, and 13x11-inch. Each coil can operate at 35 different frequencies, from 3.7 kHz to 27.7 kHz, based on 5 main frequencies that are quickly accessible. You can also use a boost mode on low frequencies, which can increase the depth and sensitivity on highly conductive targets, such as large silver coins. X35 coils are the perfect choice for detectorists who want to explore various types of terrains and target sizes.

Choice of Headphones

The XP WS4 headphones come as standard with the Deus Lite, the WS5 headphones are sold separately as an accessory. Both the WS4 and WS5 headphones are showerproof, foldable, compact, and lightweight, and they have a long battery life. The XP WS4 headphones are backphones that fit over your ears, while the XP WS5 headphones are full-cup headphones that isolate outside noises. Both headphones have a display with menus and buttons that allow you to adjust the main settings of the detector, such as sensitivity, discrimination, ground balance, frequency, tones, etc. You can also recall the programs that you created previously with the remote control. The XP WS4 and WS5 headphones are the perfect accessories for the XP DEUS metal detector, as they offer you wireless, user-friendly, and comfortable metal-detecting experience.
